Vented or vent-free logs?
Vented logs look more real and keep combustion gases going up the chimney. We recommend vented sets for open fireplaces.
Do gas logs heat the room?
Some. They are mostly for the look. For real heat, a sealed gas insert is the better choice.
Can I use gas logs on a no-burn day?
Maricopa County no-burn restrictions apply to wood. Gas fireplaces are generally allowed.
